What are we supposed to do? There are more of them than us. I try to avoid news and reality just because I find it horrible. Depressing. Untenable. I have no idea how to compensate for any of it--so I just went out and got a second job. Still not making ends meet with two jobs--but I'm so busy and exhausted I don't really have time to worry about any of it. I guess I should find a commune to live in.

re the other comment, it really is painful to see how blindly optimistic people have been just because we elected a black man. See I'm not racist like them; I hate politicians equally.

Really we should never have traded in our republic for a democracy...not that that would necessarily have prevented the problem.
