1969 radical sex education

Yesterday I read various portions of a book called 'Everything you always wanted to know about sex (but were afraid to ask)', published in 1969. It was absolutely amazing. I read the chapter on male homosexuality and then went looking for lesbianism. I found it but was interested to note that it did not have a chapter of its own. Lesbianism was ( Read more... )

That's wonderful, I love outdated politically incorrect books. I got a copy of Lawrence J. Hatterers 'Changing Homosexuality in the Male' for Free from the RMIT Medical library when they were throwing away all their outdated offensively wrong material....last year (I really hope no psychology student read it in the last year and is practicing the methods). After reading it I gave it to my homosexual housemate to enjoy.

Kinsey's 'Sexual Behavior in the Human Male' published in the 50's however still remains pretty similar to the orginal in its most recent reprints and still claims that everyone is bisexual to some degree.

And also on the note of lesbianism being ignored, I've heard tell that when Queen Victoria criminalised homosexuality she refused to do to same for lesbianism because women simply don't do that kind of thing.

Yeah, we have encounted that alot in dramaturgy for the play we are doing at the moment. When the servant reports back to the master that his friend Harry is gay the master goes mad but when he tells him that the governess has feelings for his wife, the master simply says 'Joshua, you go to far.' and walks off. It is bizarre.
