ST: TNG ReWatch, "11001001" & "Too Short a Season"

Argh, I've fallen behind in writing these! This one sat on my to-do pile for quite a while, and I realized that besides Real Life happening, I just wasn't too moved one way or another by either one of these episodes. Nonetheless, here we go:

Minuet returns in a fashion in a later episode. Only reason I know this is because my mom was obsessed with this idea that I looked just like Minuet, and I never saw the resemblance. In all I wasn't too wowed over with either of the episodes.

"Too Short a Season" is actually the first ST episode I remember seeing. I was five and my friend was talking about how he was getting younger and younger and he would eventually go back into his mother's womb, and so would his wife. And that is what two five year olds took from this episode.

I was wondering about when you would start these up again as I've been enjoying them, though I understand the first two seasons can be trying to get through. And crappy things happening in real life don't help.

Ha ha, that's an interesting reason for your Mom to be obsessed with the episode. I should say that Minuet did have a lot of presence, and I was sad to see her just... vanish. It's nice to know she'll show up again, even sort of, down the line.

Ha ha, that is an awesome analysis of the episode. I feel like all ST:TNG episodes should be sorted through a 5-year-old's eyes! (Well, maybe not all... I'm thinking of a few specific ones now and making myself sad.)

We'll keep on trekking (ha ha) through the episodes, never fear! Even the dreaded season 2! XD
