Uhm, wow. These two were pretty crazy.

( The Naked Now: Everyone acts like they're drunk, and Wesley drives the ship in the PG-est drunken orgy I've ever seen. )

tv shows: star trek: the next generation, that isn't how i'd tell this story but o, rewatch, wtf

How fun to do a rewatch, and I applaud you for slugging through season 1. When I catch the reruns of these early episodes, I have to remind myself just how good the show got later on. Looking forward to your thoughts on my top 5 episodes!!

I will admit that Season 1, so far, is not great. However, it makes me more determined to get to the good stuff later on, and it also reminds me to give more shows a chance now. :)

What are your 5 Favorite Episodes? (I have my own, too, of course.)

5. The Measure of a Man
4. Chain of Command Parts 1&2
3. Best of Both Worlds Parts 1&2
2. Darmok
1. The Inner Light

There are plenty others that I'm really fond of, but these 5 really encompass everything that I loved about that show. I think that it's telling, too, that growing up with this show, I would've told you that Troi was my favorite character, but it's Picard who makes this show so compelling for me.
