And i think its crap which probably means that I'll get an amazingly decent grade on it as that is how these things go.

But I'm horribly disturbed that fluxuation is not a word. Like, Word spell checked errored it and so I started hunting in dictionaries for the spelling and it is NOT A WORD.

What do tides do, if not fluxuate?

good. i was just crazy then. I knew it WAS a word.... I'd rather not be able to spell than not be able to speak.

I thought tides waxed and waned, like the phases of the moon (and with them, for that matter). Congrats on getting the paper done...
