Really! Now, I know that i dont have to take a new name if I get married, but i always thought that in a married (or even non married) the baby is given the father's last name.
That is up to the parents to decide. So, if you really want your last name to go on, just convince the husband of it. But uh... don't do the hyphen thing... that just gets annoying later, heh.
As a 'boy' myself, I am not sure I can speak to all that you have said, but point #1 I understand on two levels...first, I would be awestruck if it ever happened to me, second, I too would be way to shy to do it to someone else (although I would likely get a slap across the face...haha). oh, and brains are hot, I agree
1) Pushing a guy up against the wall and kissing him when he doesn't expect it, is, in fact, the best thing ever. Mmmm, I love it.
2) You obviously need to have two boys and give one of them your last name, and the other one can have your husband's last name, thus confusing everyone.
