Went to Williamstown Theater Fest yesterday...

Went to see Noel Coward's Design for Living with Steven Weber, Marissa Tomei, and Campbell Scott, at the Williamstown Theater Festival in Williamstown, MA. It was a first-rate performance with glamorous costumes and breathtaking deco sets. Marissa came out after the show dressed in a purple silk robe, and was very friendly. Mmmmm, Marissa Tomei. Campbell Scott was in a couple of my favorite indie flicks, especially Kicking & Screaming.

Lzaide, you would have loved her in this role. She played kind of a femme fatale of the 30s in love with two men. She was very gamine and adorable, and did a wonderful British accent.

All I can say, LZaide, is...WOW!! You and your group are phenomenal!! Do you have CDs out? Where are your gigs? And would you guys ever come to Albany, NY, lol? We have a very active jazz scene here.

Thanks! The instrumentalists are my boys from Las Vegas (I went to UNLV with them, and did a few shows), probably the best group of jazz thugs in the city. I flew out there to produce and record the instrumentals with them. I'm not finished with the CD yet, I'm going to finish it here in Chicago where I live. It should be done by November (after my wedding) and then start touring and promoting... one of my stops is definitely NYC and even somewhere upstate NY!
