regarding your subject, oh my gosh, i totally know! my da was like "i'm confused" and I had to explain it to him. i really didn't like the movie, nothing was explained! i really didn't like how they handled neville with the crucio and then quickly mentioning frank longbottom at the trial... eyeroll. although on the plus side, i did enjoyed neville's role. i think i'm going to have to reread the book just to have good harry potter feelings again!

I like the movie a lot, actually. :) I'm a huge nerd about HP, and I actually had no problem with the movie. I just see it as artistic representation of the novel, which I hope people are interested in anyway after watching the movies. I also knew beforehand that a lot of it was going to taken out or omitted, so it didn't really bug me.

i KNOW. and the happy-do-lucky ending pises me off. i spent half an hour last night explaining Priori Incantatem to my sister ("why the fuck are those people coming out of his wand?!") and relating the real ending of GoF.
