This is wonderful. It feels so cinematic, somehow, like it should be a voiceover while the camera pans out over some bleak landscape or something. So lyrical and melancholy and ow.

Why don't people always say, do, feel everything they ever need to at once? Why do we always think we'll have a little longer?
