Author's Notes: I hope you enjoy it.
She's begun to see life as something that is merely a mindless task, over and over; it's all the same.
It's all the same and yet she has no real meaning in life anymore; no longer a witch, no longer superior in her own right.
"Weasley...to who do I owe this wonderful meeting to?" she snapped, eyes narrowed. Arms are tightly crossed around herself, she's always told herself it's mainly done for the appearance of superiority; really it's just a shield.
He's not nearly as disgusting to her as she is to herself.
"Pansy, really odd to see you here," he murmured, spoon lazily stirring cold coffee.
Rolling her eyes, dark haired woman removed her apron; stained with various food products. Leaning onto open palm, she stared at Ron with curiosity evident.
"Really? I mean, would've thought Gran - Weasley kept records of where we all went. Not as if I could honestly do anything, I'm as harmless as a muggle...for now," she muttered, voice taking on darker tone.
She missed magic, missed everyone fearing her.
Ron looked up at her, the corner of his mouth lifting slightly, "You know taking out the fact that you added the for now and all that, you seem kind of lonely. Lonely enough to remember I married Hermione."
Eyes widening in surprise, Pansy let out a snort of laughter as she picked up his abandoned coffee.
Sipping from the mug, she winced at the sugary taste.
"Honestly Ronald, why are you here at, oh...one in the morning?" she questioned, staring at the tired looking man. "Shouldn't you be at home with your wife and everything sweet?"
He looked defeated, something she felt everyday simply staring into broken mirror.
"More then certain you feel this way too, but did you ever think your life would end up like this?" he exclaimed, suddenly leaping across the table and grabbing her shoulders tightly.
Startled, Pansy listened as he continued to rant, not minding the heat of his palms on her arms.
"I didn't think I'd just be some stay at home husband, I feel like my mum!"
Laughing Pansy, gestured around the small crapped diner.
"Just like I didn't think I'd be a waitress to bloody muggles! Life isn't always going to end up as you wanted," she explained, wide grin stretching across her face.
There was something about him, something odd that made her life.
Perhaps it was the fact that his was the first visit from a wizard in quite awhile.
Head nodding downwards, Ron shrugged.
"I didn't think I'd be doing this either," he muttered before kissing her.
Eyes beginning to flutter shut, Pansy leaned into the kiss.
Falling forward onto the table, she rolled her eyes at muted pop that echoed.
He'd been dining at her little job for several months now, it wouldn't change anytime soon.
