My Name is Zoom and I Live on the Moon...

Oct 10, 2005 21:09

To start - I know Ramadan is supposed to be all about peace, love, harmony, etc., but I find it messes with my sleeping and eating patterns to the point where I start feeling kind of ill all the time and get really cranky. So if I start posting really strange things this month, especially between the hours of 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., it's probably because ( Read more... )

ramadan, hard drive crashes, stupid technology, captain zoom

Vishnu Vishnu Vishnu. I think I really like saying that name out loud!

I know it's in the past and there's nothing you can do about it, and my mentioning this now won't make you any less frustrated about the situation, but why didn't you ever save the location of the icon brushes? I usually save everything in my Memories if I can, though I suppose if you didn't get your brushes from an LJ community...*sigh* Basically, technology is stupid and it has trumped you us once again!

I will NOT miss the Gross Face emoticon. That's all I'm going to say about that.

I am still looking forward to your response (I think?) and am (im)patiently awaiting to see what kind of wisdom you have to share with all of us. ;) (Though, I must admit, this the first time EVER that I think I'm glad for conceptual justice. *snickering*)

AHAHAHAHAHA! I love this song and wish that I had known about it before so that I could have included it in my very embarrassing phone post taunted her with it. And finally, I just have to say that the Cindy Klone ( ... )

(I knew I had something else to say that I was forgetting!)

WAHHHH. I am sad that there are no songs for ME...because my name is really common and all. WHY WOULD THEY LEAVE ME OUT?!

I feel your pain about there being no song for you, brej, because back in the day when I first saw the wonder of the Captain Zoom song, there was no song for my name, either! Imagine my surprise and joy when I looked up my name on the website today and saw that Captain Zoom could now sing the birthday song to ME!

I think it is horrible of Captain Zoom to charge you $10 extra because if you wanted him to sing to you, you'd have to get a customized name song shun you like that! D:

Hahaha! Vishnu is pretty brilliant, yo. He weighs about 100 lbs soaking wet and rollerblades around campus fixing computers!

I'm pretty sure I remember where most of my icon brushes came from, but it might take some searching to find them all. I'm very bad about saving stuff like that or even adding it to my memories. Sometimes this was because I stole... um... borrowed... brushes from people without commenting on their entries or crediting them, because I'm lazy like that.

Don't worry, brej! I will create an equally gross face, just for you. :D

You know, I was thinking of testing the boundaries of conceptual justice by posting my response at your LJ anyhow with some deliberate America-bashing and seeing if you would really delete it! I was pretty sure you'd end up being too soft, but then I thought in the name of both conceptual justice and Ramadan peace and love, I should post it here. Also, that way I'd have control of people's responses and could delete anything blasphemous or conceptually unjust. >:DI think I have a not-so- ( ... )

*ROFLMAO* YAZ! I think this is before my time, but dude, this is freaking hilarious! BWAHAHAHA. I'm listening to the song right now and cracking up: what the cack, yo?

Regardless, thank you for your kind birthday wishes! Also, I hope your sleeping/eating patterns fall into place soon, and that your computer issues are easily resolved. If you're missing any music/pictures that I have, I would be more than happy to contribute to your fixed computer. (:

P.S. So...you have a big and scary 12 year old student? That is sort of bizzare and vaguely cool?
