Okay, here are two very late capsule reviews of two shows I saw at the North By Northeast (NXNE) festival last week. They aren't very coherent... just general thoughts.

Granted, I'm not much of a fan of Feist herself, but I adore BSS and like, EEE! You kind of know someone from BSS!!!!!

Yeah, my sister's a music journalist, so she knows, like, everyone. I think she's friends with a couple of members of BSS, too. She's been following them since waaaaaaay before they were "cool".

Yes, I was at Ms. Harmer's show. I looked for you, but we got there late and were way at the damn back. Are you going to her show at Massey Hall in Sept?

Also went to see Feist for like, 10 minutes before I realised that if I had to stand for one more minute I was gonna go completely postal. I liked the idea of having an artist as part of the show.

And...totally unrelated...OMG That Kalan website you showed me? AHhhhhhhh! So so so teh cute. I'm a vote for him 50 gabillion times. Cause, please? An 18 year old curly headed violin playing beef farming jesus freak? Right on, brother. Get down with your bad self. Me lurrrve him.

We were up front on the right side, 'cause my sister is really good at barrelling through crowds until she finds a spot at the front. ;) And yep, I bought tickets to the Massey Hall show during the presale on Thursday. Whee!

I think You, Me and the Teenies will be a big hit. It will run on CTV right before Degrassi: The New Generation.

Yay for Sarah Harmer! I cannot WAIT until September 16th, when I will get to see her live for the first time. EEEEEEE! Also, I agree with you that she is (unconventionally) beautiful. Just...EEEEEE!
