DECEMBER : OPEN THEME MONTH

Dec 01, 2009 00:17

Let's focus a little on the *un* before the *dead* of this community, shall we?

What's an open theme month?
An open theme month is a month in which, instead of posting a new theme, all the old monthly themes are reopened. That way everyone gets a chance to apply for the themes they missed and old members can get a restamp on themes if they didn't like their first result.

Where can I find all the old themes?
We have a theme tag, plus there's also a list of all the past themes in the community profile.

How often / For how many themes can I apply?
You can post a theme application every two weeks, which means you'll be able to apply for two, maybe squeeze in three theme applications per open theme month. More are possible, if your application is stamped faster than within two weeks in which case you can apply for another one right away.

What are the rules for an open theme month?
- The community rules still apply
- The individual theme rules (as found in each theme posting) apply, with the recent exception of having to vote on all unstamped applications available instead of just three
- Your subject line should be 'OTM: (name of the theme you're applying for)', for example 'OTM: Resident Evil 3 theme'

And that's all there is to know. Grab whichever survey you like and have fun!
