Should I stay or should I go?

Dec 03, 2009 19:09

I feel like I haven't had enough time to think about where I'm going after these next few weeks. I've had plenty of time to think about it.

I'm trying to decide if I should move back home to look for work or if I should stay up in the NEK.

I'm sort of stuck in the middle.

Any suggestions folks?

Why would you go back to Springfield to look for work when you already have a job up here, and work there is even more scarce than it is up here. You'd be better off waiting until you know you can get something BETTER, and move to a BIGGER place.

And I'm not just saying that because I'll miss you... I will, but that's not 100% of the basis for the comment.

The main reason I'm thinking about moving back home if I don't get a job right off is because I am afraid I won't be able to afford rent here on my own.

I need to keep my options open but something I have to do is get a job somewhere. Obviously I'll be mailing out resumes all over the place from wherever I'm living.

I'm determined to work within my major. I've given myself until February to find a good job, but I'm done at the sorority house in February no matter what.

It's part of that moving into my adult life thing. But if I haven't found a job up here in my major. I can just as easily work at a grocery store in our hometown.
