All of this is a luxury. How much of it do we take for granted? How much of it do we eventually feel we deserve instead of earning the privilege?
It's not a right. It's a convenience.

You're right - I wouldn't. You're just really easy to talk to... it's nice. I feel like I could tell you most anything that was on my mind.

It makes me happy to hear that. I'd like it if lots of people could talk to me the way you did. I think I would feel more needed if that were the case.

Not everyone, I don't think. I think there's a lot of folks who don't enjoy feeling needed or feeling any kind of expectation from others at all.

Good. Some folks do. I know I feel a certain amount of expectation from people, but I've come to accept it and I do my best to live up to it.
