another brief entry

I go back for my next session with Evil Bob tomorrow. I showed him the place on my left leg where it had been crushed in the car accident, lo, these years ago. He ran his fingers over it (which was enough to make me thrash) and gave me a completely grossed-out look in response to what he could feel under the skin. It's been years since I've ( Read more... )

Well he has now learned the Kim sign language version of "MOVE YOUR HAND". Hopefully you won't need to use it again.

I hope the PT helps and I'm glad you got Courtney and Beth-From-Florida.

*hugs you*

Man, what I wouldn't give for a shin guard. However, I will certainly remember enough for both me and Evil Bob to warn him about my leg whenever he goes near it.

PT is going to be a very good thing. I'm still trying to get there with being able to explain WTF about Mom, but it's going to be a bit before I can do it. It's just so long and so much, and Dad's death has been enough all on its own. I'm trying, though.

Grief doesn't have a timetable. You'll get there when you do. No need to try and push or rush. Certainly not for our *points at flist* sake. Okay?

I know. I just want to get the words out of me. I want to be able to explain it so that I can understand. I want to be done with it and freer as a result. I'm just not there yet and that frustrates me. It's still just too much, too soon. That frustrates me, too.

Clearly, this calls for the judicious ingestion of fresh coffee.

That sounds... the brain fuzz won't let me talk, but Bad. Evil Bob needs to know where not to poke. Here, some Tennant for you:

"ouch" doesn't seem to cover it.

I suspect after that he'll remember, but yeah, a reminder at the start of each session does seem to be in order. :)

*looks up at previous comments* Um...ASSFERRET? Is that a new word your phone has learned? if not I'll be happy to teach it

*ducks*

I have been known to inflict bodily harm on health care professionals who caused me physical pain. You did better than I would have, Evil Bob would have been One Legged Bob or something if he'd done that to me.

How's the Pretty Peach AssFerrett?
