Except for the Caribbean costumes. We have Caribana, it's like a week long Caribbean festival and they have a parade and all the costumes are really elaborate and huge and pretty =)

This was the 81st annual parade. So yeah, it's every year by Macys. hehe

It's not that I don't like the book. I don't like the way we have to read and what we have to do as far as the project goes. I'm sure I would love the book if I read my way. Especially cause I live right near where they are talking about.

I get what you mean. Once I read a book for my own pleasure, a year after, we studied it in class. So I read it all over again, since I had forgotten about it ever since, and it suddenly seemed not as good!
