It's basically just a community for making fun of FBR bands and other related items. Sometimes it can be amusing and witty, other times it can be downright cruel. Mostly, it's full of 14-year-old girls who wish they were e-famous.
I enjoy it most of the time, ngl. It's the easiest way of keeping abreast of bandom news and it's more fun than the fan community where people jump on you if you say a single thing that criticizes their beloved idols. I say "most of the time", however, because things get out of hand there very, very quickly (ex. all the shit they posted in the comments of Panic's new blog).
but like .. WHO makes up the community? are they actual fans or "haters"? it just doesn't make much sense why actual fans would want to trash the bands they like, like that ALL the time, but it also doesn't make sense to me why people who apparently hate all the bands in FBR would want to be in a community just to make fun of them?
Haha. It's mostly fans. I think of it not so much as "hating" on the bands so much as teasing and playful mockery. The vast majority of it is done in fun without any real malice - kind of how you might rib your friends about the ridiculous shit they do. Rarely are people actually serious about the comments they make. Of couse, as I mentioned previously, it can get a little cruel; some people have a vicious sense of humour.
