please dont blame yourself! i know you feel like its your fault but hopefully overtime you will realize its not your fault. we are just kids. he is the adult and, hopefully, he is about to be punished for all of his actions.
Im SO sorry he emptied your college savings. Dont give up on Columbia yet. You are the most determined person ive ever met. Im sure if there is a way to get there you will find it. But remember, even if you do have to go to school in Arkansas you will succeed. You are so intelligent and hard working and always achieve your goals.
Congratulations about your new jobs. Im glad you enjoy working so much. We both know Im avoiding a job like the plague!

Britt, you are one of the smartest people I know. You always have been! You are Ivy League material if I've ever seen someone who was. There are all sorts of scholarships and stuff out there, plus the FAFSA stuff and financial aid through Columbia. Don't give up on going there! Even though your dad did use your money, it's not your fault. We're supposed to be able to trust our parents, and you trusted your dad about his reasons for leaving the house so early. There's nothing stupid or foolish about trusting someone you care about.

If you ever need to escape for a couple days, my house is open to you. ♥

You know deep down that its NOT your fault in any way Britt! It wasn't your responsability to keep tabs on your Dad nor to act as his parent by finding out the secrets he was trying to keep. It is your dads fault, and only his. I'm sure your mom would like to blame herself too for everything that happened but its not hers either. We don't understand Gods ways or why He does things or why He allows things to happen. This is where faith comes in. Just keep doing what you're doing. Gurrrrrrrrrrrrl, you called me earlier and I tried my best to figure out what was wrong, even though you weren't sure. I think I know now. Not just this stuff, but other stuff too. I love you babygirl and this is not your fault. I don't ever wanna hear you call yourself stupid!! Do it again and Imma smack you! Gurl, HE did this, not you! He's the "parent", the "adult". You can go to Ivy League w/o a college fund. There are ways, brit. Don't worry SO much about the money. You'll get partial scholarships and loans. You can work it out if you really want to.
