For me--and maybe you find it similar yourself--my favourite pieces to write are usually those I write for myself, without any expectations from others. :)

I have no idea how much I wrote last year. Maybe I'll count it all why I'm sitting at work wishing I was someplace else. You, on the other hand, wrote an ASSLOAD. *applauds and throws confetti*

I have a ton of crap lined up for this year, no fanfic, and I'm sad because that will mean less time to game. ;__;

Rewind Forward was amazing, Al, and you know exactly how much I loved it. There's no doubt in my mind that you can create something similar in your own world and sell it. You've got what it takes.

Everyone else does the meme, but it takes so much effort to add things up the more fics there are. -____-

Working on the website fics this year?

I'm only missing, you know, a manuscript, an agent, and connections. Maybe some of those HP BNFs can share....

I'm going to go out on a limb and say yours took the longest. I feel that I could say that with no small amount of authority.

No, I'm getting serious and am writing a couple of novels. I'm ready to get off my lazy butt.

The manuscript and agent aren't so hard. Connections are a different story and, honestly, I wouldn't like seeing your name alongside Cassie Clare's. Because you're, yanno, a real writer.

The link searching = effort. And coding. *hates on coding*

What sorts of novels? Any particular genre?

There's also Maya. Oh, and that Heidi from TLC. They're all in the know together. I need to make friends with publishers, or something. Publishing interns, maybe.

No one has less of a life a higher count than me! ;)

Ah, good. The card arrived. I was thinking it should have reached you some time ago.

My back aches sometimes too. Alas, what we must endure, slumped over computers...

Naw, I don't make mail announcements either all the time. But there was a few international cards I sent and heard nothing about...

Quasimodo? (My genius couldn't resist! ;)

I love round-ups.

I don't wish for you to stop writing fic, but I think you definitely should aim higher already, yes.

Round-ups are fun to read!

Eh. Posting fic online is just not rewarding enough if people lurk incessantly, especially given fic authors don't make any money doing it whatsoever.

Ooh, more Hyoutei! Also, I don't exactly want Rewind Forward to end, but I understand if your sanity must take precedence.

Anyway this made me think hard about my favorite fic of yours. I still can't decide so I have three!

1) Denouement
2) Shibuya 109
3) Love is a Many Tentacled Thing

I don't comment enough, I know. But I read everything.
