Well, they told us it was a flu and to go through the usual routine. You know, stay in if you're sick, keep your hands washed, but...

I've never seen a flu do that. People would get it and attack their own families. Others would get it and mutate into these godawful things... It wasn't anything that could be contained and that became obvious real fast. Pretty grim shit.
