Gacked from the f-list

I always feel a bit self-conscious doing these types of memes because I feel a bit like I'm the kid at the back of class jumping up and down going 'look at me, talk about my work now!' but screw it :P My muse can always use a workout so if you have something to ask, ask away.

Ask me writing questions, should you happen to have any ( Read more... )

I'll bite. Why did you decide to have Lois and Clark have so many children? Not that I'm complaining, I'm just curious.

Lol! When I posted this I thought to myself, 'I bet the first question is about the amount of kids they have' :P

I assume you're talking about Revelations? There are several reasons, the main one being is that when I get an idea, original or fanfic, I get the basic idea (world-wide reveal in this case) and the characters and one can't work without the other in my head. i.e. I couldn't write it properly. In this case all six kids were there in my mind from the start and taking any out would have been the equivalent of killing them at that point as the plots were already working out in my head.

A second reason for the multitude of kids in Revelations is to allow the exploration of the effects the reveal is going to have and a large variety of situations. Jason, who's well into life with a successful career and just ready to start a family, Sophie, who's ready to start her adult life but not quite there, Dean, just out of high school, Lucy and Ella, still in high school, and Chris, who's really too young at this point to properly ( ... )

I so want to ask you about upcoming 'Revelations' chapters, but I know you can't answer them. *bummer*

So, what do you have planned for 'after-Revelations'?! Have you thought that far ahead? I am enjoying your 'stay-at-home Dad' one-shots ... too cute! :D

And another question, just how many plots did you have in mind for Clark 'revealing himself' before you came up with the explosion in the first chapter?! What you chose was brilliant by the way! :D

Oh, really? I kinda want to know what you'd ask. I might be able to share but I don't want to give too much away :P I'm so glad you're enjoying Perfect Little Accidents! I was wondering, as that's one of the lesser reviewed fics on FF.net and LJ but yay! And the real Daddy!Clark stuff I was thinking when I planned those is yet to come so I hope you stay on board!

I have thought way far ahead in Revelations :P The final chapter is almost six months since the start and the epilogue takes place on the anniversary of the reveal. After the first fic is done I've planned a big-ish sequel, Three Years Later which looks at the longer term effects of the reveal and also involves the return of someone the Kents hoped was long gone :P

After that, I have even more planned though most shorter oneshots or mid-length fics. Two of my favourites are one called True Colours which starts with a mistake which leads into an exploration of the darker side of fame with betrayals and backstabbing abound and really, really high stakes ( ... )

Those two follow-up stories sound wonderful, especially "Stolen" !!! Humm, which daughter is it?! *ponders* That would be very interesting indeed ... the husband being the 'human' one! *very exciting*

As far as asking about "Revelations"... I won't put you on the spot..! *hugs*

Glad I'm not the only one looking forward to them now! Stolen is actually half written already and (aside from the already mentioned 'something bad') it's fun because it's the daughter I consider most like Lois (dunno if that give it away or not :P) so her husband is actually a pretty special guy to love and deal with her :P Especially with the fact that she's physically so much stronger too, not saying the boys' love interests don't have to be special too :P But it is slightly more socially acceptable for a man to be physically more able than his wife, though in this case the whole world knows she's stronger than him and believe me when I say the guys who marry a Kent girl have to be secure to put up with some of the stuff they go though in the press.

Hey, feel free, I love to know what people are thinking or wondering about my story even if I can't reply without spoiling it. (Or I might come back later once it's not a spoiler any more)
