Sunday afternoon, NYC, Katz's Deli

No way was Peter leaving the city without a trip down to Katz's. Missing out on that was just wrong.

"But it's a classic!" Teddy joked.

Teddy tilted his head to think about that. "Do flavoured condoms count as souvenirs?"

"Depends on the flavor."

"Mango," Teddy replied, nodding. It was a good flavour. "And a few strawberry ones too."

[repeterpetrelli]

"Strawberry? Okay, now we're talking," Peter said. "For that I might even give you two people of your choice."

"That just makes me want to order something with strawberries and eat it very slowly," Teddy replied.

[repeterpetrelli]

"I did bring you somewhere with good cheesecake," Peter pointed out.

Teddy grinned. "I think I know what I wanna order."

[repeterpetrelli]

"I'm still going for the hot dog," Peter said. "And a pastrami sandwich. I've got no double meaning for pastrami but feel free to supply your own joke about meat."

"I would, but the only one I got would make me look bad," Teddy replied. "And a pastrami to go sounds like a good idea."

[repeterpetrelli]

"We'll avoid euphamisms involving pickles too," Peter said. "Be on the safe side."

"Good idea." Teddy nodded. "And no ordering anything with cherries, that's just tacky."

[repeterpetrelli]

"Plus kinda gross, after the pickles."

[notthehulk]

"Not if you're a pregnant woman. Which neither of us are, unless you were standing by one and your copying thing works in strange ways."

[repeterpetrelli]

Peter gave him a look of horror. "Oh man. I hope It doesn't work that way."

"And then you'd have to wonder where the baby would go-- and ow! We are so not talking about this."
