Brooke hadn't seen Peter in a while, and she couldn't have that. So when she came to his door she was pouting, but not about that.

"It's summer, and we're in Antarctica. Someone fails," she complained.

"Unless of course I shoplifted them but that is another case entirely." Also, something she wasn't planning on trying again after that last time.

"True," Peter admitted. "But I'd visit you in jail, so at least you wouldn't be lonely."

"Could you break me out?" she asked sweetly.

[repeterpetrelli]

Peter thought about it. "I probably could, yeah. Invisibility, lock-picking - of course you'd have to promise not to break any more laws."

[gobrooke_urself]

"I could promise not to get caught..." No, she couldn't.

[repeterpetrelli]

"How would I trust you, given your previous lack of luck?"

[gobrooke_urself]

"You wouldn't have to. I'd just have to make it worth the trouble." It was so sad how she wasn't just joking about this.

"I think I'd have to make it my job to keep you on the straight and narrow," Peter said.

"Sounds like a lot of work," Brooke said seriously. Really.

[repeterpetrelli]

"I'll find ways to make it fun," Peter replied.

[gobrooke_urself]

"Sounds less like work. How would you do that?"

[repeterpetrelli]

"There are those who say I'm creative," Peter told her.

[gobrooke_urself]

"And now we're sounding promising. Does this mean I need to case Pixie Dust now? Wait, not there, I like that store."

[repeterpetrelli]

"Or we could skip to the creative," Peter pointed out.

"Have I mentioned how much I like the way you think?" she smiled.
