416, most of Friday morning and afternoon

Peter had gotten back from the city and was ready to get into the swing of Fandom life again. This was helped in no small part by knowing his brother was in town.

First up was getting unpacked, as well as hopefully handing out some of the presents he'd bought while he was away.

It was sometime around midday when Mac finally made her way back to Fandom, and into 416 with a couple of bags in each hand. She practically dropped them in the doorway.

She gave Peter a big grin, and a "Happy new year!" in greeting.

"If you were at all put off by geekiness, you probably would naver have hung out with me at all," Mac said with a little snicker as she put the ipod carefully down on her desk.

"Seems like all my friends are geeks. So much for birds of a feather." Peter grinned at her. "Oh! Hey! Speaking of geeks, guess who's in town?"

"Ooh, who?" Mac asked, as she started to unpack some bits and pieces from her bag. "You're going to have to tell me, because I really suck at the actual guessing."

"Nathan!" Peter was all but bouncing. "He's going to be teaching."

[imac_kenzie]

"Aw, that's awesome." Mac grinned at him as she pulled a couple of books from her bag. "What's he teaching?"

[repeterpetrelli]

"Law," Peter said. "So I won't be taking his class, but outside of that I can see him whenever I want."

"That's really neat to have him so close by now," Mac said. "and at least he already knows the ins and outs of crazy that goes on around here. Preparation, always a good thing."

[repeterpetrelli]

"Plus we already know that he likes my friends." Pause. "Well except for Dean. But still! You'll have to join us for dinner sometime."

Nathan hadn't even gotten his apartment yet but Peter was already comfortable issuing invitations to it.

Mac laughed and nodded. "Definitely," she said. "That would be fun. He'll be staying somewhere in town, I guess?"

"I told him to try Xander's place," Peter said. "He's a good guy, figured he'd take care of Nathan."

Another pause, this time for mental images.

"Not like that."

There was another snicker and Mac shook her head. "Yeah, I think he would. Not like that."

"Hopefully Nathan likes it here full time."

[repeterpetrelli]

"If not, then he can stay because of the awesome power of my puppy eyes," Peter said, demonstrating.

[imac_kenzie]

"And who could ever resist those?" Mac said, smirking back at him.

[repeterpetrelli]

"Not Nathan," Peter said, looking smug.

[imac_kenzie]

"Family are the best targets for those kinds of skillz," Mac agreed.

"I used to be able to get my own way a lot when I was a kid just by pouting at my parents."
