TITLE: Breaking it to the fool.
CHARACTERS: Shizuka Doumeki (repellingly) and Kimihiro Watanuki (cookingly)
LOCATION(S): Duklyon Burgers. Possibly elsewhere.
SUMMARY: Doumeki is trying to return a favor. He looks kinda serious (as if it's that different from his usual expression). Maybe he wants to talk?
RATING: PG? Blame the swearing on Watanuki, if anything.

"Do tell," Watanuki began with a hint of annoyance. "Why you brought me here."

He sat, eyeing the burgers in utmost distaste. If Doumeki wanted a lunch, a bento, crafted by the Great Watanuki-sama, he could've just asked (rudely) in that deadpan tone of his.

"Really. The curiousity kills me."

"Change of pace." He deadpanned. Not like he had to explain himself to Watanuki.

He grabbed his soda (a large coke light. not because he was conscious of his weight, but because the taste kind of amused him.) and took a sip, his eyes steady on Watanuki the entire time.

"Kunogi takes us here all the time." Plus he kind of wanted to treat people every now and then. Just 'cause Kunogi herself couldn't come didn't mean the idiot had to get pissy about it. Then again, this is Watanuki. "You don't complain then."

"But you are not her, you big brute." Watanuki huffed, crossing his arms against his chest. His chest heaved. "Don't compare yourself to Himawari-chan, it's rude."

With a curious eye, the youth began inspecting the burger for any (and every) imperfections he could spot. They looked absolutely unappetizing, but...

Watanuki sighed.

"Obviously not." Doumeki nodded. Watanuki always needed something to whine about. If he wanted to whine about the food, then so be it.

"And here I thought idiots were taught manners." Doumeki sounded mildly unsurprised. "It's free. Stop complaining and eat."

Doumeki didn't bother waiting for him to respond. He grabbed a burger and took a bite, his eyes remained locked on Watanuki as he tasted (never enjoyed) his food.

It really wasn't so bad. Too much ketchup, maybe. Watanuki did have a point. His cooking was better.
