Thanks. I figured it would, but I had hoped it wasn't.

It is still extremely tempting, though. Having a transportable weather device that shows me almost live radar is something I have lusted after for a very, very long time.

Still might get it, though. I'll wait until after I get my first bill, though, just so I can see what I'll be paying when all is said and done and if I can really afford the extra four dollars.

You know Firefox has a weather forecast plug in that you can use for free? Not the same as on your cell but really if you're out and about away from your puter you can just look out a window ;)

I already use the Accuweather add on for Firefox. And the Weather Bug add on. Cause I am a gigantic weather geek and I will literally spend an hour or more watching the radar if a storm is anywhere in my vicinity (though I'm usually doing something else, too, like reading/writing emails, watching TV, and/or checking my LJ or some such).

What I've always wanted, though, was something that I can carry with me all the time and check radar on a whim, especially for travel and the likes.

So, yes. That would be why MyCast is insanely tempting, cause then I could have RADAR on my CELL PHONE, YAY! Not till I get my first bill, though, cause knowing if I can afford the extra 4 dollars a month before I go out and spend it is a good thing.
