So, it's done. I have officially withdrawn from all my classes for this semester, signed the Housing Contract Cancellation form, and talked to someone in Financial Aid about paying back my loan. St. Cloud State has completely and totally kicked my ass, knocked me down, rubbed my face in a mud puddle, and dragged me behind the horse by my ankles

It's not an easy decision by any means, but you have to do what's best for you, and it seems as if you are better off not doing this right now.

Thanks. I'm trying really hard not to beat myself up over this, and all my teachers agreed that it was probably the best choice, but its still one of those Big Decisions that I'm always afraid I might regret. I don't think I will, but paranoia is one of my fortes (only spelled right). :)

*Big hugs* Dropping out of college after you've started a semester is always hard, but having been there somewhat myself...I do believe sometimes you need to give yourself that break to rest, recoup, and figure out where you really want to be.

Let yourself relax, be silly for a couple of weeks or a month, and then start planning (while still letting yourself make the most of the time off from regular classes!). You'll figure it out.

And any advice you might want to ask for, or just a friendly ear to hear ya vent...you know I'm always here.
