On telephone conversations...

I think I've tripled the amount of time I talk on the phone since coming up here. Which, you know, doesn't say much since I never really *talked* much on the phone - sometimes I got gossipy with Emmies, a little less often I got gossipy with Dana, but those conversations were few and far between and usually didn't last more than a half hour to an ( Read more... )

Verizon is 10 cents a minute for every minute and you get free in-calling to verizon customers if you are interested in switching phones, it's what I've got and it's pretty good. :)

yeah, I asked the dude in charge of the phones when i was at walmart if the Verizon track phone was worth the 50 bucks they wanted me to spend on it, and he said no, not really. The phone wasn't very good for one thing, and I could get more minutes per dollar using the Nokia/T-Mobile one that I currently have. I figured since the phone was actually cheaper than the verizon, he wasn't trying to con me into a different phone, so I took his word on it. T-Mobile is still cheaper than the Simple Freedom service I had back home; those were 25 cents a minute or there abouts.
