AFAIK, those things need antibiotics. Also, the infection can move to your kidneys and make you extremely sick if it isn't treated, although I think this is fairly rare. Isn't there any way you can get to a doctor?

I could get there, yes, but it would cost me most of the little money I have left in my checking account, which I kinda need for school come fall.
But, if it doesn't get better by Friday, I probably will just give in and go to the doctors. I won't have any money left, but that's nothing I'm not used too. :)

Too bad you can't get your parents to help you pay...you could beg and call it an emergency? ;)

Alas, parents don't have much more money then I do (for that matter, they might even have less since I don't have bills to worry about, only gas and occasionally a few groceries), otherwise I would ask them. We really do need to reinvest in some sort of health insurence.
But, like I said, if it doesn't clear up by Friday, I'll call and get an appointment. At least I think I'm getting paid in a week or so, so that will add an extra hundread. :)

every time i've had one, i either waited it out, or drank cranberry juice the way you've been drinking water. cranberry juice is what i usually have in the fridge, though, so it didn't arouse any suspicion. >.o

*petpets* i hope it goes away soon!

that's my next bet. I plan on getting a container next time I head into town. I might not *like* it, but I'll survive (Besides, I've heard that after drinking/eating something you like 10 times you end up at least simi-liking it).

Also, do cranberry cocktales work? Cause I don't thing anywhere around here sells just 100 percent cranberry juice. It's either got a boat load of sugar in it or it's mixed with other juices so it's not so bitter.

i usually get the cranapple cocktail. prolly doesn't work as fast as the plain cranberry would... but at least it isn't bitter. ^_^
