there's some way of suggesting story ideas here, and people take up ideas that they feel inspired to write, and do it. I haven't been following long enough to understand the mechanism yet, and you have to specially request to join, but maybe here is a good place to submit your idea.

I am TOTALLY and completely cool with you linking as many Avengers stories and authors my way as you wish! Avengers fic is currently my crack and it isn't showing any sign of giving up its hold on all my free time (and even some not-so-free time) any time soon. Heck, even as I type this, I have like three Avengers stories open in other tabs. ;)

Speaking of, if you haven't checked out copperbadge's stuff, you're missing out. He is one of my favorite fic authors of all time (he has an awesome Harry Potter AU that I have decided is my own personal cannon after the mess that Rowling made of the actual cannon) and he has new stories up every weeks usually.
