After fourteen years, my Hotmail account has finally been hacked. Bound to happen eventually, I suppose. On the bright side, I haven't updated my contacts list in that account for years, so I got a ton of Mailer Damon emails back, with only maybe 15 or so emails going through to the rest of you all. But, still, unless you get an email from me

Mine got hacked a couple years ago. Not that I was terribly surprised though, I had a color as my password. For example: purple

I was sorta wondering how long it would take. :). I changed to one of the better, capitals and symbols and numbers passwords and it was ok again.

I'm actually rather surprised it lasted this long - Hotmail is not known for its security. ;) I changed my password a few months ago to something with a bit more challenge - like, it had an exclamation point in it - but otherwise it was the same password I had been using for years. Now I have a nice long one and I told it to remind me to change it again every 72 days.
