my brain still has this irrational paranoia of over-sleeping

My brain does the same thing even though I too am a very light sleeper, so I can sympathize. The day I had to be to work at 4:30 I woke up at quarter to 3 so that was a fun day.

It is completely irrational. Never once in my life have I slept through an alarm. In fact, I only remember one or two occasions where i overslept period, and neither involved an alarm going off, just me being really tired and/or forgetting I had to work and staying in bed. Usually I'm awake well before I have to get up without any electronic assistance. And yet still, my brain is remains unconvinced. Darned brain.

Also, there was totally something else I was going to add, but I have forgotten what it was. Again, darned brain.
