It figures that on a day I have actually found something to do (organizing the data tables - attached to every shapefile; they with deal with all the numerical stuff that goes with them - into a format that will better fit into the new geodatabase) at work, I have absolutly no motivation to do it ( Read more... )

Days like that suck... and allow me to sleep with you. I don't know WHY my body woke me up after only four hours of sleep. :| (Been up for like an hour now.)

I just finished out my lunch hour with a nap in the car. Maybe you could try that?

I take the van bus, so no car here at the office. I only get a half hour for lunch as well, which doesn't leave much time for a nap after I finish eating.

I'm considering taking tomorrow as a sick day, though. Today as the first day of my period shouldn't be too bad, but tomorrow will mean lots of fatigue (even more so than today), bloating, and a rather sore back. It might be a bit difficult to pull of since I live and car-pool with one of my coworkers every day, though.

Nah. If I really don't feel up to going to work tomorrow, I'll just tell her with a sign on my door or some such.

I'm not being nearly so careful to not let any of my co-workers see me with my head down on my desk today, though. Usually if I'm super tired, I sneak quick 2 to 5 minute rests at my desk, and then pop my head up to face the computer screen whenever I hear anyone coming down the hall. Today I am doing the "screw it, not moving" thing 3 times out of every 5, and I am totally going to be leaning against the window with my eyes closed when we van back to the Tri Cities.
