I am wearing a short tank top that I can't even *pretend* to be able to pull off, no bra, and short shorts, and it is not helping one iota. Want the heat to go awaaaaaaaay...

And the fact that my lap top is pretty much radiating heat does not help much, either.

The trick is loose clothing, big t shirts, loose shorts, cool showers and then lay out in front of the fan and dry off that way and put something between you and the laptop or it won't be a happy camper either (like a lg hardcover book or a lapdesk if you've got one)

I traded in the skimpy tank top for my baggiest, lightest t-shirt after I took a cold shower. Alas, I do not have a pair of shorts that qualify as "loose", but I managed. The icky part is the lack of a fan, because the only two I have were up in my room (which gets even warmer than the rest of the house) trying to make it sleepable.
