Does anyone have a ball park on how long eggs last? I have a few left in the fridge, and the expiration date on the container says the expiration date was Jan 23, which was two days ago - I know milk is usually good until about a week after the expiration date on the container, but I don't know if that is the same for eggs

According to the Egg Safety Center FAQ and experience, your eggs should be fine. To be safe, crack them separately and look for anything funky (spots in the yolk and such). I'm not one to take risks with food, but if they look okay once cracked open, I'd eat them.

I used eggs a week past exp. which is not very smart but I didn't get sick :P
