It is LARGELY THE SAME, minus the last bit and plus the fact that he is really glad that he is starting to be able to talk to Naoto without being quite so flaily and blushy because he really does appreciate having Naoto as a friend and now he can...express that without failing quite as much.

Kanji likes Tatsuya well enough. It's not really anything close to a friendship because Tatsuya is quiet in a way that says Fuck Off which doesn't invite friendliness. If/when he finds out that Tatsuya is really just a giant loser that likes to make motorcycle noises, I'm sure he'll start being nicer, though!

They're very positive on all fronts. Kanji sees Katara as someone nice and that he should talk to when he sees her around.

Joan, though, will definitely seek Katara out as she is one of the first/few normal people (other than that whole weird bendy thing) she's met that's been nice and friendly to her.
