I started writing on the next chapter of "Back Home." Yay!

Things are slow going. Ronon and Jen are about to meet her family, but 300+ words in, they're still on the plane. I'm doing this from Ronon's POV, so we can get an idea of how Ronon's seeing and his observations of how Jen's family perceives him.

Ok, I guess I should get back to my actual job ( Read more... )

Yay! I've been waiting (quite patiently, actually) for you to continue this story, along with a couple of others you've yet to complete. I hope your writing goes well.

Though I have to admit I can understand how real life tends to get in the way of things like writing. My life has been crazy lately.

I'm ready for a new job, need a car, need my own house, thinking about going back to school, yadda yadda yadda. The list goes on and on.

Hm, maybe I should start taking time to get some of my recent ideas written.

We'll see.

Good luck!!!!

Yes, I know y'all have been waiting a while for my update. Real life has taken priority, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's taken forever to get to this point on the story, and now I'm presented with the challenge of not boring you to death. I had an opportunity to divert into some major action, but I think the challenges I have planned for our favorite couple are pretty interesting still. Meeting the parents is never a walk in the park. ;)

So, it's cool to hear that you have a few story ideas in the wings. Writing should be fun, I've realized, which is why I had to take a step back from it for a bit. Then I was busy beta'ing, which wasn't bad, but it did drain me after a bit. The Ronon/Keller fic has definitely dropped off, though. I think people are waiting to see what happens in this week's episode to get fresh ideas.

I hope so, anyway. :)
