This was amazing and it brought tears to my eyes. Such a heart-wrenching and yet beautiful and hopeful story. I love the balance you have between Dongwoo's painful past and the brightness around him in the present day, the story neither becomes too sad or too light to fit with his background.
I really love too how you brought out Dongwoo's bright and cheerful character, his true character that is starting to shine through again. Who couldn't love that boy? He's such a ball of sunshine. And here he is every bit that same ball of sunshine as he is in real life, just hiding a little under some layers of hurt that take time to peel away.
Ahhh what a beautiful way to end it too. I really liked that you didn't just suddenly have everything rosy but left on a hopeful note. Sunggyu's promise was one of the most beautiful things ever said. Thinking about it makes me get all emotional again!
Thank you for sharing this gorgeous piece of writing. You are definitely one talented writer to bring out the emotions so beautifully ♥

Can I just say how heartbreaking this really is because Dongwoo is a literal ball of sunshine and imagining baby like this is just UGH. MY SOUL. IT'S BROKEN AT THE THOUGHT.

I really love the pacing and how everything isn't all laid out right from the start and like the audience and Sunggyu get clues as to what happened to Dongwoo as we read on. it's just SO GREAT. I really love emotional build up and WAAAAH DONGGYU performing yongguk's song is the perfect scene like can that happen for real pls?

ALSO SO OTP. Hyungline is the LITERAL CUTEST SHIP TO EVER HAVE BEEN CUTED /rolls self into ball and cries. Sunggyu is the sweetest thing to have ever existed and wow my soul is aching

I cannot begin to say how excited I am for the sequel. I hope it's super angsty because I thrive on angst. And also because there isn't a lot of angsty Dongwoo-centric fics out there which makes me a very sad inspirit.

I'm a bit of an angst queen, and the idea I have for the sequel is definitely that. Originally, this was supposed to be A LOT longer, but I had a pretty major family crisis that took up a lot of my time, so I had to end it to get it in in time.

I love me some donggyu...it's tied with 2woo as my #2 OTP~ 1 being dongsoo....hehehehe
