The loud incessant ringing was what finally pulled YoungSaeng from the deepest sleep he'd had in awhile. Once it stopped, he sighed and burrowed further into the very warm comforter. He had only just fallen back to sleep when it began again, drawing a loud and tired whine from his lips.

KyuJong rolled over a whipped a pillow at him, missing by a mile, but the intent was clear:

'Answer your damn cell before I throw it out the window'

Buried beneath the comforter, YoungSaeng stuck one arm out and began reaching around blindly until he knocked his cell phone-along with the alarm clock and the manwha he'd bought-off of the nightstand.

"What?" he grumbled once he'd pulled his phone up by the charger and finally answered.

"Saengie yah~!" came the loud ringing voice of JungMin.

"..." Rolling onto his back, YoungSaeng blinked from under the covers. "JungMin, are you drunk?"

"Of course I am...not!" he loudly protested. The sound of the phone dropping was heard-or maybe that was JungMin-before laughter came over the line. "Well, maybe just a little."

Or a lot if the giggle was anything to go by.

"JungMin, it's three in the morning here. What do you want?" YoungSaeng groaned, draping an arm across his eyes.

"Jeez, can't a guy propose without a hastle?" JungMin whined over the phone. "Mean!"

YoungSaeng just sighed. Of all the-wait. "Hold up. By propose..."

"You know. That thing where you get on a knee and ask someone to marry you, dope," JungMin stated, followed by a yelp and a dull thud. "Okay, forget the one knee thing...I think I just broke mine..."

YoungSaeng ignored the redhead in favor of sitting up and staring at the phone as though it had grown legs and started dancing. "JungMin ah, what is going on? You're making no sense." It wasn't entirely true, but the sense that he was making was more than a little head spinning.

"Tch, and I thought you were the smart one, Saeng ah." The loud and obnoxious sound of JungMin blowing a raspberry into the phone was the last thing YoungSaeng heard before the click and dial tone.

Blinking rapidly, YoungSaeng stared at his cell for another minute before returning it to the bedside table and laying back down, burrowing into the comforter. While they had all come to expect many things from JungMin, drunk or sober, a drunken marriage proposal was pretty low on the list.

"Wut'd 'e wan'?" KyuJong mumbled, voice low and practically incoherent.

"He proposed," YoungSaeng replied matter of factly.

"Oh." There was a pause before the blankets rustled loudly, signaling KyuJong rolling over quickly. "Are you two even dating?!"

"Of course not! Don't you think I would have mentioned something like that to you?" the dark haired vocalist returned dryly before releasing a loud sound of annoyance. He flipped over onto his stomach and buried his head in the pillow, muffling the sounds.

KyuJong, however, was sure he heard the words 'stupid redhead' uttered somewhere in there.

YoungSaeng found himself leaning forward as the wind rushed past him. Watching the land move further and further away as the boat did the same, he closed his eyes, taking in the calm. The weather was amazing, he was with friends, and no one knew where they were, let alone bother them.

"Saeng ah, your phone's buzzing," Steven said, motioning to the phone sitting in his lap.

Blinking, YoungSaeng looked at his phone and noticed the incoming text. "Thanks, Hyung," he said with a smile before tucking his legs up and accessing the text. Seeing it was a picture text, and from JungMin no less, he grew a bit more hesitant, but looked anyway.

KyuJong turned his attention toward YoungSaeng at the loud groan of annoyance, Steven doing the same. "What is it?" he asked. He just took the phone when YoungSaeng held it out to him.

Looking at the picture, KyuJong could only snicker as he looked at the very pretty and very expensive ring shown. With a quick explanation to the very confused producer, KyuJong looked back at his hyung when he returned his phone. "And you're sure you aren't dating."

"Positive, you jerk."

"Hey, Saengie Hyung. Have you checked your twitter lately?" KyuJong asked as he scrolled through his phone, checking his own.

Looking up from the book that he had been deeply engrossed in, YoungSaeng blinked a few times before looking around for his phone. "Been a day or two, why?"

"Well, you might want to now."

YoungSaeng stopped what he was doing when he noticed the smirk on KyuJong's face. "Oh my God, what did he do this time?" Not waiting for an answer, he opened Twitter and went to JungMin's last entry. Seeing the link, he clicked on it.

KyuJong tried as hard as he could to hold in the laughter before he finally lost it at the look on YoungSaeng's face.

"So...dating..." he forced out before he fell out of the chair laughing.

YoungSaeng made sure to kick him when he walked out of the room.

"Hey Saeng ah, you ready to go yet?" KyuJong asked as he stepped into their hotel room. They had plans to go out to dinner and a club with Steven and a few other friends afterward since they only had a few more days left before they had to return home.

"Just about," YoungSaeng replied, slipping into the slim fit shirt he had found in a small shop their second day in Las Vegas. Looking up, he smirked at how well KyuJong was dressed, the dark jeans practically painted onto his long legs. "Planning on having a bit of fun after hours?"

"Shut up, Hyung."

Laughing at the blush that was slipping onto KyuJong's face, YoungSaeng finished getting ready before standing up and padding across the room to where he had left his phone. Picking it up, he let out a surprised yelp as it suddenly went off in his hand.

"Yeah," he said when he answered it, recognizing the ringtone.

"Uh, hey, Saeng Hyung," came HyungJoon's voice. YoungSaeng blinked at the hesitance in his tone, but shrugged it off.

"Hey, Joonie. What's up? Me and Kyu were about to take off."

There was a pause. "Turn on Music High, and remember not to kill the messenger." That said, the maknae hung up.

"What was that about?" KyuJong asked, watching the odd look on YoungSaeng's face.

Shrugging, YoungSaeng walked over to KyuJong's laptop since it was the only one still on. After getting to the live feed, the two both took seats and listened as asked.

"This song is dedicated to one good friend from another, and I hope he doesn't kill me for this," HyungJoon's voice came over the speakers.

The look of excitement on KyuJong's face for what was probably another of Jungmin's odd proposals drew an annoyed sigh from YoungSaeng, which quickly became silence when the song started playing.

you wearing the white bridal gown
Me wearing the suit
Both of us walking in sync towards the stars and moon, I swear
No lies, no suspicion
My dearest princess, stay with me

Even if we are becoming older, we will smile and live on
Would you marry me? Are you willing to live the rest of your life with me?

no matter how weary and tired we are, I do
I will always be by your side, I do
The days when we will spend together, I do
Everyday will my heart be thankful, my love

The loud bark of laughter was what finally brought YoungSaeng back. Looking over, he saw that KyuJong had fallen off the bed and was practically howling with laughter. Shooting a glare at his best friend, he stood up and marched to the door, hand clutching his phone.

He had a messenger to kill.

It was late evening when their flight arrived. Walking into the airport, they were relieved to see only their manager and a few stragglers, none of whom thinking anything of the two young men so late at night with no escorts. Once they had collected their luggage and were finally in the car, KyuJong grinned wickedly and poked YoungSaeng in the cheek playfully.

"Going to see hubby now?"

Making a face at the younger, YoungSaeng decided to ignore him in favor of staring out the window. It was difficult, however, with KyuJong making annoying comments left and right. Luckily, it took no time at all to return to YoungSaeng's apartment. When KyuJong followed behind, however, he let out a sigh. "Your place is being fumigated, isn't it?" he recalled.

KyuJong simply flashed him a smile before nodding. "You're stuck with me for two more days, Saeng ah," he sang. "You're also stuck with my lovely comments as well."

"Maybe I should let them fumigate you, too, you damn pest..."

"You love it and you know it."

"Let's make a deal. You shut up about JungMin, and I'll never mention that you and Steven hooked up at the club the other night." YoungSaeng just smirked when KyuJong blushed, tripping over absolutely nothing.

When the two reached YoungSaeng's apartment, however, he groaned loudly as he recognized the pair of trainers resting haphazardly on the floor just inside. KyuJong couldn't resist the snicker as YoungSaeng dropped his head into his hands and shook his head.

"JungMin, come here," he called out, watching as the redhead suddenly ran out of the kitchen, nearly falling as his socks did little to stop him from slipping on the hardwood floor. Hiding the amused grin as JungMin flailed to regain his balance, YoungSaeng stared at him pointedly, hands on his hips. "Why are you in my apartment when you knew that I wouldn't be here?"

"Oh, that's an easy one. KyuJongie called me and told me that you were on your way back," JungMin replied with an easy grin.

Lifting a brow, YoungSaeng turned his attention to the brunette, who returned the look with one of total innocence. Too bad none of them ever believed that he was innocent. "He did, did he?" Sighing, he slipped his own shoes off and walked into the living room, dropping down on the couch before ordering the redhead to sit.

With a nod of his head, JungMin did as requested, yet another thing that KyuJong got a kick out of. Park JungMin listened to no one; except YoungSaeng, it seemed.

Ignoring his best friend completely, YoungSaeng focused his attention on JungMin. "First thing's first. What the hell is with all of the damn marriage proposals?"

JungMin grinned back before folding his arms behind his head and leaning back with his legs crossed. "Felt like it," he answered casually.

"Of course you did," he sighed. "You are aware that we aren't even dating, right?"

"Yup."

"And people who don't date first don't get married unless it's a shotgun wedding, which is impossible since neither of us can get pregnant."

"Tell that to the fanfiction writers," KyuJong cut in with a grin.

YoungSaeng shot a glare at him. "Don't you have something else you could be doing?"

Pretending to think, KyuJong shook his head. "Nope. I'm good here."

Not knowing what else to say, YoungSaeng just turned back to JungMin. "So I don't know if this ever occurred to you, but did you ever think to actually ask me out?"

The room went silent when JungMin just stared blankly before groaning loudly, dropping his head into his hand. "I knew I was forgetting something!" he whined. After a moment, he looked up to see YoungSaeng smirking, face reflecting his amusement at the redhead. "Would you say yes?" he wondered.

Pausing, YoungSaeng got to his feet and walked over to JungMin and pulled him lightly to his feet before kissing him. It was short and sweet, but explained everything.

"Next time, just ask me out, you knucklehead."
