It has nothing to do with liking. it's a waste of my time to talk when no one is listening, let alone read half the things people have to say when they're not involved in my life aside from the internet. There's no more real life interaction, anyone I maintain 'internet friends' with, I expect to see and vocalize with on a normal basis.
