While skimming back over my flist yesterday, I caught Ascending the Throne by shinodabear. This fic should be read, if not for the imagery and the tale itself (which is very good), then solely for Drusilla's voice in it. It's rare to find someone able to capture her inner voice in such a real and believable way. The author has it listed as a Dru/Illyria

I think it's been a long day, because I took a quick glance at the first few words (I'm currently watching television and skimming my flist) and I thought, "Hey, that's a cool title for a fic." *headdesk*
