How much looking after and things do your Bluetongues take? Is it just a terrarium and interesting food? Or is it more like heatlamps, temperature monitoring and required plants and things?
It's a cross between the two. They need a heat lamp (with thermo) and a uv lamp. A 900mm tank like you can get on eBay, plus the lamps, etc will set you back a little over $200 brand new and will easily accommodate 2 adults. You can get them a bit cheaper second hand too if you look around.
Once you have the tank, they eat vegies+tinned dog food (or pet mince) 2-3 times per week, dropping down to once a week once they're grown.
