Congrats Scott Brown. You surely put in the most effort for this. My only warning, though, is that people elected you based on your promise to be an independant voice in Washington. Your voting record is easily public knowledge in Washington, so if you carbon copy the other 40 senators, we won't believe that rhetoric a second time in 2012. In ( Read more... )

It was a 52%/47% split. A lot of it had to do with local issues and not national ones. People in MA are sick of the local Dems that are complacent and corrupt. Also Coakley ran a horrible campaign, and Brown ran a stellar one.

That said, I'm not happy with the 52%.

He's only in until 2012. We get to vote on him again then. It's not that far away. If you want you can come up here than and actively campaign with me for "the other guy/gal".
