Paprika = AWESOME

So, I went and saw Paprika, the new Satoshi Kon flick, on Friday night and it was AMAZING!

The story was interesting, the subtitles were easy to follow without missing the action, and the animation itself was breathtaking. While there were some small unresolved issues, it was nonetheless a highly enjoyable film.

Omg I LOVE Satoshi Kon. Perfect Blue and Paranoia Agent are the only things I've seen by him, but they're two of my favs of all time. I'll have to see if I can bittorent this 8D

Sorry for the lack of actual spoilers-- I really put that warning in there for people who are anti-anything mildly spoilery...

If you want to be spoiled, let me know and I'll spill! XD

Satoshi Kon immediately reminds me of Perfect Blue. O_O That was trippy...Although I enjoyed Tokyo Godfathers. Sounds intriguing. :3

Paprika is VERY trippy, too. The dream sequences are pretty damned creepy-- especially once one of the bad guys start chasing after Paprika.

I know you're not one for scary stuff, but it's not so much scary as it is psychological. If you can handle Hitchcock, you should be able to handle this...
