I'm going to have to disagree with lizetm. I felt there was something of an attempt at an accent when we first see Remy. But by the end, it had completely disappeared.
The people in Hollywood responsible for the X-Men movies really need to talk to the people who make "True Blood." They managed to get Anna Paquin to play a better Rogue-like character than she did in any of the X-Men movies, and the character in "True Blood" who was pretending to be Cajun (complete with a collection of "Cajun Dialect for Actors" tapes) did a better Cajun accent than Kitsch did as our favourite Ragin' Cajun. So disappointing.

I guess we'll see him again in one of the upcoming X-Men movies, and maybe in one that will focus on him :)
