Not in a thousand years would Tonks have thought to interrupt the peace... not with that smile on Remus' lips. But she could not, just could not walk on to the kitchen for what she had set out and had totally forgotten already. Couldn't tear her eyes away from the two of them! Voicelessly, she mouthed, Happy birthday, love!... and kept on looking.
