Hey, here's a woefully belated welcome, jadeddiva! Authors are absolutely invited to respond to the reviews, and frankly I'm an idjit for not letting you know that I'd recced your work. Now that you explain the title it does make sense, in fact I feel even more of an idjit for not getting it earlier!

I'm always astonished when a story I've read and enjoyed as much as this one, or for example the most recent fic reviewed called "A Fine Line," turns out to be the author's first fanfic or story within a certain genre. That's so freakin' impressive! I remember my own first attempt at fic, way back in 1991 (for um Days of Our Lives' Jack & Jennifer), that, not to put too fine a point on it, totally sucked. Hell, 15+ years later, I'm a much better writer, have had a novel published, but am certain that I would still produce craptastic fanfiction. Good fic is NOT EASY.

The lovely stories you and mysid created right off the bat are such finely shaped and polished little gems that seem far beyond what a maiden effort should be able to produce! Bravo
