Cam was actually right. One of the few things I remember from a geography class I took is that "up" and "down" don't refer to "north" and "south," but rather to elevation - and I would put money on the fact that Cam is at a higher elevation. Interestingly, most non-industrial societies orient themselves, and their maps, east-west instead of north-south because of the sun.
I don't think I was implying this information was useful - in fact it is the first time I have used it since learning it three years ago. Sadly, most of the stuff I've larned in college is fairly useless in everyday life.
