We have this little black tree at work that I got a few years ago at a Walmart here in town. It started as a joke, but we soon started to decorate it for every holiday that came around. My little tree is quite well known now and people from all over the department like to come over and see the new decorations each holiday and season. I found out ( Read more... )

Yes, I do! I'm very lucky. One of the girls daughters made all the pipe cleaner flowers, AND the jeweled ribbons!

That is so cool! We just had our Susan G Komen 5k up here in DC last weekend and the weather was just right for all the runners who turned out.

We have that same run here too, and we also have a special Breast Cancer run called the 26.6 with Donna to race to end this horrible disease. Donna is a local news celebrity who is a breast cancer survivor and she works with Mayo Clinic (where I work at) to raise money for Breast Cancer research. A bunch of the girls in my department do the run every year and they are running for me the next race. I hope I can too!
